For years, the concern of localizing the technologies needed to facilitate tunneling and mining was keeping the mind of Shayan company founders busy. In 2014, all the thought, time and capital of the founders were devoted to achieve this technology, and by examining the types of tunneling and mining machineries, they found out that the most flexible machine in this field is Roadheader . Less than 10 countries in the world still have the technology to manufacture it. In the same year, the concept design of the Roadheader, was done by Shirin Brothers.
After 2 years of research and development, finally Shayan Company, with the aim of producing mechanized tunnelling and mining machines was registered in the Tehran Companies Registration Office in 2015 , and In the same year, after going through various stages of technical and economic judging of its idea and product, succeeded in obtaining the degree of knowledge-based from the Vice President for Science and Technology. In 2016, Shayan technology based company redesigned the industrial model of this tunneling machine, and after 6 months, the first Iranian Roadheader, called “Shayan Roadheader”, was ready to perform tunneling operations.

At the moment, as the manufacturer of Roadheader machine in West Asia, based on absorption and creating technical knowledge and technology of manufacturing of tunneling and mining machineries, this company has entered the stage of industrialization and custom production of such machineries in accordance with international standards for mechanized urban and non-urban tunneling, including underground mines, water and waste water, roads, railways, subways, electricity, energy and etc.
