Underpass In South East Of Tehran

A tunnel with dimensions of 3 meters wide and 3 meters high with the shape of a horseshoe cross section was excavated by Shayan Roadheader. The front stone was made of aerated granite, which with a compressive strength of 45 to 50 MPa, made the excavating conditions difficult. Due to the presence of joints and cracks in the mass of the work front stone in this project, after each meter of excavating progress, it was necessary to maintain the roof and walls in the form of steel mesh with concreting. Roadheader is one of the best options for constructing small and short tunnels in and out of the city.
